Son Heung-Min scores against Vissell Kobe

Soccer

Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min scored against Vissel Kobe to help his team win the J-League World Challenge in a nail-biting game that was tied until the 88th minute.

Team Japan's Men's Soccer team survived a tough and hard-fought game against Mali a day after dismantling Paraguay 5-0. You never know how a team will play against another team. On any given day, a team just plays so well that even a top team like Japan can have a hard time. Great defense by Mali indeed.

Team Uzbekistan has lost two in a row, eliminating them from Olympic competition. Team Korea didn't even qualify and Korea is a great team. Be proud.

Baseball

Masataka Yoshida had one of his best offensive games today with an RBI, 1 R, and 2 Hits, upping his BA for the season, closer to his average last year.

Shohei Ohtani was 2-3 with 2 RBIs, 2 H, 2 R, 1 HR in a wild game that the Dodgers ultimately lost after his team blew a 5-run lead.

 Basketball

In Men's Olympic basketball, Japan, the only Asian team that qualified for the Olympics lost to a very solid team from Germany. It's a group stage, so they still have a chance to qualify for the next round. Way too early to tell. Qualifying in itself was such a great accomplishment for Team Japan.

Asian Baseballers

Baseball and Sports are part of my everyday life. The best thing to do is write about them. I also run a website on which I analyze boxers to evaluate matchups. Above all, baseball is my favorite sport, and I am using my knowledge to spread unity in the Asian community and hopefully the world.
